First No No Almost and the Fish are Hiring

Yesterday Major League Baseball almost had its first no-hitter of the 2015 season. Shelby Miller took a no no into the 9th with 2 outs before Miami first baseman Justin Bour hit a fastball right back up the middle to break it up.
The 24 year old Miller threw just 89 pitches and faced the minimum before Bour recorded his single. AJ Pierzynski was behind the plate catching for Miller yesterday. This is the third time Pierzynski has been involved in a no-hitter that was erased in the ninth.
After the game the Marlins fired Mike Redmond. As of this morning the Marlins hadn’t named the new manager as they are going to be holding a press conference at 11am EST. The Marlins are 16-22 and 5.5 games back in the NL East.
