He Hit a Boat

Last night in Pittsburgh Pedro Alvarez hit a boat in the Allegheny River.  Yes he hit it out of PNC Park and the ball landed in a parked boat.  In the fourth inning Alvarez hit a 2-0 fastball off the Twins starter Ricky Nolasco.  According to stat tracker it was a 446 ft home run.

Since PNC opened in 2001 36 players have left the park but only 3 have hit the water.  Alvarez is joined by the Astros Daryle Ward and the Pirates Garrett Jones in the water category even though his water shot was blocked by the boat.
