Colon was born on May 24, 1973 in the Dominican Republic. He made his Major League debut with the Cleveland Indians in 1997 and has played for the Expos, White Sox, Angels, Red Sox, White Sox again, Yankees, A’s, and now the Mets. He won the AL Cy Young award in 1995 and has been an All Star 3 times in 1998, 2005, and 2013.
