The World Series Champs Home Opener

Yesterday the reigning World Series Champions had their Opening Day at home in San Francisco. They got to raise their World Series flag which was brought out by their Ace Madison Bumgarner on horseback. Lots of fanfare and celebrations for last years team and last years moments. This year they are a very different team, already dealing with injuries and of course there’s no panda. They currently occupy the cellar of the National League West at 3-5.

The Red Sox also had their home opener yesterday showcased with a bad first pitch thrown by none other than the Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady.  The Tigers lost to the Pirates and now the KC Royals are the only undefeated team left in Major League Baseball. The Mariners lost in 10 innings to the Dodgers and ended their streak of winning 3 extra inning games in a row.

Strasburg and Sabathia take the mound today.
